Welcome to the website of Columbus Public Health. I hope you find the site useful in protecting and promoting your own health, the health of your family and the health of our community.

As the local public health agency, we are working toward healthier and safer people in Columbus. We do this by monitoring the health of the community, identifying and responding to health threats, enforcing laws that protect health and by providing services to prevent and control disease.

Whether or not you have ever visited our main building or clinic sites, Columbus Public Health is working to protect all who live, work and play in our city. From inspecting area restaurants to giving shots to newborn babies, we are committed to maintaining and enhancing the health of the community.
